Trade Policy

What we give for used books

You may bring in  books to trade every day of the week, up to 6:30 Monday - Saturday. We accept books that we feel we can resell and we offer 50% of our resale price in trade credit. We keep your credit on an account here at our store and you may use the trade credit towards 50% of your purchases (new books, gift cards & Webkinz excluded)

Example: If you come into the store and buy a $10 dollar book then you would pay $5 and use $5 from your trade credit account to cover the rest of the cost.

Books we don't accept

Our inventory is ever changing as are the types of books that people like to read. Because of this it is impossible to say exactly what books we will accept at any given time. However, there are books we are not interested in.

• Damaged books
• Textbooks
• Magazines
• Encyclopedias
• Outdated books (books with time sensitve subject matter that are no longer relevant)
• Adult series romances (Silhouettes, etc.)
• Most book club editions
• Advanced reader copies
